We celebrate Women’s History Month by focusing on financial confidence
On March 8, the world—and UMB—celebrated International Women’s Day by recognizing the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The theme this year is, “An equal world is an enabled world.” We couldn’t agree more.
Last year, we launched our Women and Wealth initiative, which means we are spending more time connecting with and learning about our women clients and what moves them. We believe in empowering women to take control of their lives and finances, and to feel confident in their financial decisions.
This month, as we honor women who have influenced and changed us, we are planning events, articles and additional support for you, that extends throughout the year. It is our hope that we can provide you with information and services you need to close the gap and help you gain and maintain momentum.
But is hope enough? We know what we think. We’d rather know what you think.

Supporting women is extremely important to me and I believe we can help women of every age and stage in life. With an open dialogue, we can empower and enable women to plan, reach and achieve.
We look forward to hearing from you—and seeing everything you’re capable of.
