We invite you to download our 2024 Corporate Citizenship and ESG Report. This report includes details on our approach to environmental, social and governance (ESG) programs and metrics in our employer standards, community connections, environmental policies and risk management practices.
The past year has been an exhilarating leap forward for UMB and our teams. On January 31, 2025, we closed on a landmark deal to acquire Heartland Financial (HTLF), which added five states to our footprint, nearly doubled our retail presence and increased our wealth management portfolio by 32%.
This acquisition is more than a milestone—it brings an expanded team, expertise, and enhanced products, services and investments to our customers.
Supporting our new communities
With this tremendous growth comes a need to lean into our core values—not only to welcome new associates across the U.S., but to ensure our new communities benefit from the resources UMB provides.
In 2024, we organized several significant donations to deserving organizations and causes totaling $350,000. These donations—which include the Dubuque Community Y, the South Plains Food Bank and the National Hispanic Cultural Center Foundation in Albuquerque—were given on behalf of the UMB Financial Corporation Charitable Foundation, as well as the William T. Kemper Foundation, which is one of several foundations started by my family with the intent to support the cities we serve.
As we become a combined company, you can expect more—more investment, more options and more support.
