Jill Calton is executive vice president, executive director of alternative investment operations for UMB Fund Services, and provides leadership and oversight to all of the company’s alternative investment client servicing teams.
Scott Schulenburg leads the Distribution and Client Services teams for UMB’s fund clients. As President of UMB Distribution Services, LLC, he oversees distribution services and operations. As Director of Client Services for UMB Fund Services, he oversees the customer experience from onboarding to daily servicing. Scott has worked in the fund industry since 2001. He earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Minnesota and an MBA from the University of Phoenix, and holds the FINRA Series 7, 24 and 63 securities licenses.
Lance Albin is president of agribusiness at UMB Bank and has more than nine years of experience in agriculture financing. He has a master’s degree in business administration from Fort Hays State University. UMB Bank is one of the Top 25 Farm Lenders in the United States serving farmers/ranchers, producers, processors, manufacturers and dealers throughout the Midwest and Mississippi Delta regions.
Zach Wentz joined UMB in 2015 as fair and responsible banking manager. In this role, Zach manages UMB’s compliance with federal banking laws such as the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act, Fair Housing Act, and Unfair, Deceptive, Abusive Acts and Practices (UDAAP). He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business finance from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln and is a graduate of the North Carolina School of Banking.
Jen Houston is senior vice president/community relations manager at UMB. In her role, she works to create volunteer opportunities and to be a resource for associates looking to get involved in their communities. Jen holds a Bachelor of Journalism degree and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from the University of Missouri – Columbia. She also holds a Master of Business Administration degree, with an emphasis in leading and managing people, from the University of Missouri – Kansas City, in addition to completing the Multimedia Studies Certificate Program at the Kansas City Art Institute.
Mark Murphy is the UDAAP Compliance Analyst for UMB. He is responsible for reviewing marketing materials, performing product reviews, and creating and maintaining UDAAP focused risk assessments. Mark joined UMB in 2015. He is a 2014 graduate of Washington University in St. Louis’ Executive MBA program, and also holds degrees from the University of Kansas and the University of Southern California.
Mr. Vasquez is the Security Awareness Program Manager for UMB Financial Corporation. He is responsible for UMB's Security Awareness Program through strategic planning, developing materials, education, presenting and supporting a security awareness culture for UMB associates and customers. Marc joined UMB in 2013 and has more than 16 years of both agency and corporate public relations and social media experience. Outside of UMB Marc holds the Accreditation in Public Relations credential which has been established as a way to recognize public relations practitioners who have mastered the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to develop and deliver strategic communications. Marc is also a past president of the Greater Kansas City Public Relations Society of America chapter, and currently the communications co-chair for the Social Media Club of Kansas City.
